LSODM is over 133,000 words right now and I promised my editor I'd have a reasonably finished first draft to him by the end of the week. That means no Twitter and no blogging, and very little internet presence at all. Even a half hour of writing a blog is a half hour of NOT writing the book, and I can't afford to do that right now. When the book is done, when it's finally done, business as usual will be resumed. Until then, this temporary silence continues.

Okay, Brave, just a few things.
Now, first I need to know if you can accept criticism. Because I consider myself to be an excellent writer. I hate to be that asshole that thinks he's so much higher than everyone else. But I'm not. I'm an asshole, but not THAT asshole. And the only way I improved my writing was with criticism and practice. Now, if you are to pursue a writing career as a teenager, then you need to dust off your writing.
Now, first off. Note the difference between "You're and your". They are both extremely different words, although synonyms. Or antonyms, I can't tell the difference between the two...
Secondly, make sure you place capital letters where they belong. And also, make sure that you start a new line when there is speech, and place commas at the end of the speech. Never full stops unless you have established who is talking in turn. For example, if there is a conversation between Valkyrie and Skulduggery, it would say "blahblahlah," said Valkyrie. And then "Blahblahblah," said Skulduggery. And then the blahblahblahs could go on without the "said Skulduggery", because you have already established who is talking in turn.

Ever.
Not even Shakespeare, not JK Rowling or Rick Riordan or Eoin Colfer. It takes time to learn, but it is still a goon thing that you're starting at your age- it means that you have the incentive to try. So don't ever give up writing. There are so many genres and places and unspoken worlds that have yet to be unfolded.

1. i had a singing eistedford thing. and it was in an aghe group, musical theater. and i got a HIGH COMMENDATION THING! so proud and, kinda worried. but oh well cause its cool and i got 84/100. and it included acting and i cant act to save the universe.
